Types Of Pandora Style Beads
Pandora style jewellery is a fantastic way of simply designing and creating your own jewellery. It is also much cheaper than the branded Pandora jewellery. There is a vast choice available with regards to colours, patterns, styles and themes. There is also a wide selection of jewellery pieces available – anything from bracelets to handbag charms. To start with I though I would cover the main styles of beads that are available.
Plain Coloured
Pandora style beads tend to be Silver Plated and should be priced around the £1. Anything much cheaper will probably be poorer quality and anything priced much higher is over charging (unless sterling silver). Plain beads are one colour based. Even though the name is plain the colours are not. The beads are available in pretty much any colour you choose.
Patterned
There is wide range of patterned Charm Beads available. Swirls and whirls being very common, followed by flowers and patterns. There are also a number of quirkier beads, such a polka dots or love hearts.
Foil
The foil beads have a slightly more metallic effect rather than the smoother coloured beads. They have a shimmer about them and look lovely when mixed with the other beads. Again they are available in a range of colours.
Lampwork
Lampwork beads are often of personal taste, some people love them whilst others won’t use them. The lampwork beads have raised sections running around them. For example the bead may be decorated with a flower, and the petals will be raised from the beads surface. Or they can be designed slightly more wild, with multi coloured raised sections all over the bead.
Diamante
These can be very pretty beads. All of the above styles can also be available with a diamante stone. The foil beads look lovely with this diamante effect. They can just add a touch of sparkle to your designs.
